Here are the current policies for computer repair and tech support (updated Jan 2, 2013):

On Site: Rate varies
(1.5 hour minimum).  I charge for travel time accrued one way within Franklin County, no "trip fees".  Charges for travel outside of Franklin County occur both ways, or until I return to Franklin County, at my discretion.

At my shop: Rate varies
1 hour minimum.  You can drop your computer off at my office, by appointment, or at one of my drop-off locations—contact me for details.

Remote/Phone Support: Rate varies
1/4 hour minimum  

Small Business Owners: We can customize a monthly or weekly service agreement, or whatever best suits your needs--contact me if you would like more info.  Remote and/or phone support is nearly always available, with priority given to businesses.

*The Fine Print:
Overdue Invoices:
A late payments fee of 1.5% per month ($2.00 minimum) will be applied to any invoices not paid as of 30 days after invoice date.
Parts: I charge a moderate markup for parts and software--I spend a considerable amount of time researching the products I recommend, and I do my best to stand behind them.
